Morgan Wallen fans are not happy because they believe his name should have been called for Entertainer of the Year. Not only did he not win that award, but he didn’t win any, which seemed okay with him because he was off golfing with Tom Brady in Ireland rather than attending the awards.
Cody Johnson won the ACM Song of the Year for “Dirt Cheap” and had an amazing moment on stage performing with the winners of Duo of the Year, Brooks & Dunn. However, that’s not the really big news. Cody and his wife Brandi are expecting baby number 3.
One of the more powerful moments of the night was when Alan Jackson fought back tears when he accepted the award named after him, the Alan Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award.
