Today, the AWESOME is in Williamstown, West Virginia. Manhattan Deming was on her job at DaVinci’s, waiting on a couple at one of her tables who soon started asking questions about her life. She shared with them about her 3-year-old daughter, her goals to be a nurse that have been put on hold while she raises her child. At the end of the meal, the couple paid and changed the trajectory of Manhattan’s life. They left her a $2,000 tip, and Manhattan instantly started crying. She says the gift has given her hope and a new perspective on working toward goals for herself and her daughter. When a generous gift creates a generous spirit, THAT’S AWESOME.
