Today, I salute BraveHeart Equine Center and Army Veteran Timothy Daigole. The horses at BraveHeart Equine Center provide so much more than companionship. They are a therapeutic escape for people dealing with stress, particularly military veterans and first responders. They are a safe zone that the horses themselves enjoy since many of them came from horrible situations of abuse and neglect. Army Veteran Timothy Daigole can speak firsthand about the benefits of the horses and the impact they’ve had on his life. After spending time with his horse Pacco, he joined a nonprofit called “Veterans Club” in 2021 to help other Veterans navigate their many emotions and feelings and to let them know they are not alone.
