Today, the AWESOME is in Pennsylvania. Let’s just say the staff at one Texas Roadhouse understood the assignment. A man named Hunter placed an online order for 1 NY Strip steak, thick cut, cooked rare, no seasoning, with butter, fries, mashed potatoes, and bread. That wasn’t what caught the employees’ eyes. The note at the bottom of the order said, “Our dog’s last meal. Please make it with love.” Not only did the staff do that, they didn’t charge Hunter, and they sent along notes of love and support from the staff with his order. Hunter thanked them on social media for going above and beyond, and since then, the story has gone viral. When a little thing makes a big impact during a difficult time, THAT’S AWESOME.
