Today, the AWESOME comes from Chandler, Arizona. 14-year-old Cody Chalmers was riding his bike when he found a wallet. Inside were $300 and credit cards, health insurance cards, and a driver’s license. Instead of pocketing the cash, Cody took to the internet, public records, and social media to track down the owner. His mom posted on Facebook how proud she was. That post was seen by a neighbor who was so impressed with Cody and the honest initiative he took that he bought Cody a brand new E-bike. Not just any bike, but the $4,000 E-bike Cody had been saving for. The best part, the place where the new bike came from, was called “Integrity E-Bikes.” Cody hopes his experience will inspire other teenagers to choose the path of integrity. As he wisely stated, “Do the right thing and you will get good things back.” Proving it pays to be honest, Cody YOU’RE AWESOME!
