Today, I salute A Castle on a Hill Productions, Midwest Battle Buddies, and the other organizations teaming up for a Veteran networking event and film screening of the documentary “Saving 22.” The documentary, “Saving 22,” presents the problem of 22 veterans a day taking their lives (based on a
VA study), the message of “Saving 22” is hope. Veterans, veteran service providers, and non-profits are lining up to curtail the problem of veteran suicide, showing that life is what you make it, and it is rewarding. “Saving 22” is playing at the USNG Armory (2808 N New York St.) on July 18th, 2025. Networking starts at 4 PM, with the feature-length movie showing at 7 PM. Thank you for creating such a meaningful event and to all the Veterans involved and benefiting from this event, THANK YOU for your service.
