Today, I salute Veteran Tyson Schnitker. After his service, Tyson founded the Skaalvenn Distillery in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. He and his wife built the business on being charitable and giving back to their community, displaying equality and empathy for all. Recently, Tyson was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and underwent an amazing and successful double lung transplant. Now comes the hard part of running the business, recovering and paying the bills. That’s when his local community stepped up to help the business that had given back so much. A GoFundMe page was started, and close to $22,000 has been raised so far. Thank you for helping and giving back, Tyson. Congratulations on your successful surgery, and THANK YOU for your service.
