After Iran launched missiles at a U.S. base in Qatar yesterday, President Trump said a cease-fire was in place. Sadly, it didn’t last long as it appears Iran has launched more missiles at Israel.
Expect some commotion on the west side of town near Maple and Ridge. Today is opening day for Raising Cane’s, and while they don’t open until 10 am, there will probably be a line forming sooner than that with hopes of winning Raising Cane’s for a year.
McDonald’s is trending for two reasons. One is the “Big Mac Challenge” on TikTok, where people try to eat a Big Mac in under a minute. Reason number two is that the People’s Union USA is organizing a massive boycott of “Mickey D’s” starting today and running through June 30th to protest prices and company policies.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are one of the youngest teams to win an NBA Championship, and it shows. Watching the video of them trying to open the bottles of champagne had me afraid someone was going to lose an eye. Thankfully, veteran Alex Caruso came to their rescue and taught all the younger players how to properly and safely pop champagne.
And people are going cuckoo for Labubu. The creepy little troll dolls sold in blind boxes are flying off the shelf and selling for hundreds of dollars on the secondary market. People are waiting in line for hours for them, and one mom has spent over $1600 getting the dolls for her 6-year-old son.
