Today, the AWESOME is in Creighton, Saskatchewan, Canada. Wildfires closed school early for 10-year-old Hunter Larsen. Instead of enjoying the extended break, he got to work, mowing lawns to help his dad. In early June, his dad’s house had been destroyed by fire, and his dad was now living in his van along with his dog. He started at $10 per lawn, and word of Hunter’s mission spread; soon, people were paying $100 or more per lawn and donating out of kindness. Despite the heat, Hunter pushed through, and locals took care of him with cold drinks and big praise. Doing what you can at ten to make a difference, Hunter, THAT’S AWESOME.
