Since 2017, a handmade wooden cabinet in the lobby of the Caldwell Police Department has quietly made a powerful impact. Known as the Blessing Box, it’s a place where anyone in need can find essentials like nonperishable food, hygiene products, and baby items—available around the clock. The idea originated with one officer and his family, and over the years, the community has sustained it. From individuals to entire schools, people regularly stop by to drop off supplies.
