Korea House is a popular and loved family-owned restaurant run by Pok-Cha Kim—affectionately known as “Momma Kim.” Korea House has been serving the Austin community since 1988, really serving, because, on the first Wednesday of every month, they serve more than just food—they serve kindness, hope, and a warm welcome to all. “Every first Wednesday of the month: EVERYONE EATS FREE AT KOREA HOUSE. That’s right! Everyone. Every race, gender, religion, age, etc. All are welcome to dine in and share a free meal with us, no strings attached.
