Today, I salute Army Veteran Nicole Pruitt. Nicole was flying from Atlanta to Tucson to hold her new grandson for the very first time, and there was nothing that was going to prevent her from doing so. Not even an unruly passenger on the plane who wanted to rush the cockpit. The Delta flight had been in the air for about twenty minutes when a female passenger attempted to storm the cockpit and the plane’s main entrance. Unfortunately for the woman, Pruitt is a veteran who served 26 years in the army, and she was not having it. Nicole said, “Nobody else was doing anything, so I just knew I had to do something,” Pruitt said. “I’ve got to make it home to my kids, my children, my grandchildren.” The determined grandma helped restrain the woman, who reportedly believed God had directed her to get off the plane. Thank you for using your training to help Nicole, and THANK YOU for your service.
