Today, the AWESOME is in Minnesota. Last week, a pizza restaurant posted something on Facebook that planted a seed of kindness. The post was asking people to stop eating out of their dumpster. They said nobody deserves that, and if you’re desperate for food, please come in and ask or call, and they’ll leave it by the back door. No charge, no questions. It was the fact that he inspired with kindness rather than frustration that others were inspired to help. In under 24 hours, over $1,100 had been donated via their shared Venmo account. Thanks to that outpouring of support, the restaurant can now provide several free pizzas a day for the next three months, and will also donate groceries to two local food banks. Being an example of kindness for others to follow, THAT’S AWESOME.
