Today, I salute firefighter and Marine Veteran Marcus Carballo. The other day, Marcus was surprised by Los Angeles Chargers Owner Alexis Spanos Ruhl at Training Camp with the news that he would be receiving Storm, the team’s current Chargers Pup, as his service animal. In partnership with Paws for Life K9 Rescue, Storm has been training for the last year in local prisons to become a service dog for a Veteran. Through collaboration with Paws for Life and the Wounded Warrior Project, the Chargers proudly selected Marcus as the recipient of their fourth Chargers Pup as a heartfelt thank-you for his dedication and service to our country.
