Today, the AWESOME is in Manchester, Missouri. If you shop at Costco, you know how busy the parking lot can get. Most people keep their head up, but 10-year-old Kal happened to be looking down and saw something shiny. It was a special ring that belonged to Mae Pratzel, who had recently lost weight after surgery and the ring fell off her finger. Mae searched her home for the special ring, meanwhile, Kal’s parents contacted Costco, and they confirmed someone was looking for it. Kal, and his honesty reunited the ring with Mae just in time for Mae and her husband to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The stone at the center of the found ring, was the one Mr. Pratzel had used to propose, all those years ago. Mae said Kal’s honesty restored her faith in humanity, and THAT’S AWESOME.
