Darius Rucker is busy these days prepping for his UK arena tour. This, after a summer working with his bandmates from Hootie and the Blowfish and Scotty McCreery on the top 5 song, “Bottle Rockets.” That being said, he still made time to work with one of the hottest names in hip-hop, BigXThaPlug, joining other country artists on the Texas native’s country-inspired new album.
In a recent interview, Darius talked about how surprised he was by not only the sound of the song but the sound of his voice on the song, saying it didn’t sound like him.
