Today, I salute World War II Army Veteran Kenneth Stickley. In front of his family and fellow residents at Ivy Park in Burbank, Stickley shared memories of his time serving during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He had everyone’s attention, recalling a battle he fought under a legendary general during World War II. “I fought with Patton,” Stickley said. “I got a photograph of him, and the picture of his grave. I was there when he died.” Proudly wearing his Army Service Uniform, Kenneth Stickley, a 101-year-old Army veteran, was honored recently for his 35 years of service. The American Legion presented Stickley with a certificate of recognition and a commemorative pin. Thank you for sharing your stories, congratulations on your recognition, and THANK YOU, Kenneth, for your service.
