Today, I salute Army combat Veteran Bionner Puerta in Clarksville, Tennessee. For spooky season, he has undertaken quite a passion project. Bionner Puerta nearly died three times during his deployment in the Middle East, and that was the driving force behind his desire to do something for families that could create lasting memories. He decided to build an interactive pirate ship in his front yard for families to enjoy for Halloween. The surprising thing is that he had never built something like this before, but he took on the challenge, plank by plank. He says he’s not supposed to be here, but because he is, he wanted to give back in a big way, and this life-sized pirate ship is definitely big. Thank you for spreading joy, Bionner, and THANK YOU for your service.
