President Trump is considering invoking the Insurrection Act to justify the deployment of troops onto the streets of Chicago. Meanwhile, the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago are suing the federal government in an attempt to stop it.  A federal judge did not block deployments for now, but gave the administration until the end of the day tomorrow to explain why she shouldn’t do so.

What a crazy ending on Monday Night Football. Everyone is talking about the great back-and-forth game between the Chiefs and Jaguars that ended with 30 seconds on the clock when Jags QB Trevor Lawrence fell down after being stepped on by his own player. What looked like a sure-fire tackle and win for the Chiefs turned into Lawrence getting up and scrambling for the game-winning TD.

And popular comedian and podcast host Theo Von is still reeling from being brutally shot down on live TV over the weekend. He was appearing with ESPN reporter Jess Sims as the guest picker on College Gameday and decided to shoot his shot. He asked Jess, “Will I ever see you again?” to which she bluntly and clearly replied in front of hundreds on the set and to all watching, “I hope not.” Von said he was expecting a polite swerve, but that’s clearly not what he got.
