This weekend, everyone should rock n roll all night and party every day. Rock’ n’ Roll Hall of Famer and cofounder of the rock band Kiss, Ace Frehley, is dead at age 74 after suffering injuries from a fall last month. His family issued a statement saying, “The magnitude of his passing is of epic proportions and beyond comprehension. Reflecting on all of his incredible life achievements, Ace’s memory will continue to live on forever!”
A little over a month away from Thanksgiving, and you might be worried about what it’s going to cost this year to feed everyone at the table. It’s Aldi to the rescue. The grocery chain just released its 21-ingredient, Thanksgiving dinner that feeds 10. It includes basically everything you need for a complete holiday spread: turkey, rolls, cranberry sauce, mac and cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie, and it will only set you back $40.
and Natalie Grabow is an inspiration. Out of a field of more than 1600, where 60 people didn’t finish, she just finished the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii. In the triathlon, she swam 2.4 miles, then cycled 112 miles, and when that was over, she ran a 26.2-mile marathon. She didn’t win, but she finished the unforgiving course well within the race’s 17-hour cutoff time, at 16:45:26. Oh, did I mention she’s 80 years old, didn’t learn to swim until the age of 59 and now holds the distinction of being the oldest woman to finish the grueling race.
