Today, I salute retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Scott Eidson. Eidson retired from the Air Force in 2020 after 22 years of service and moved his family from Germany to Indiana. At that time, the Eidson family consisted of Scott, his wife Shannon, and their five biological children. In 2021, the Eidsons welcomed two new members into their family as they fostered and eventually adopted two young Indiana boys. Earlier this month, the Eidsons lost their forever home and pretty much all they owned in a fire. Enter the Indianapolis Colts, who partnered with the Central Indiana Toyota Dealers to surprise Scott and his family with a new Toyota 4Runner. Scott says their family remains strong in their faith as they wait for their new home, saying beauty can come from tragedy. Congratulations on the new 4Runner, Scott, and THANK YOU for your service.
