U.S. military special forces and two helicopters were used to seize an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela after President Donald Trump called on Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to step down; Trump suggests strikes on Venezuelan territory could begin “very soon.”
This kind of change in Washington wasn’t necessarily promised on the campaign trail, but it’s a change nonetheless. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has ordered diplomatic correspondence to stop using the Calibri font and return to the more traditional Times New Roman font, effective immediately. This reversed a Biden administration shift to the less formal typeface that Rubio called wasteful, confusing, and unbefitting the dignity of U.S. government documents.
Did you know the animal kingdom has a monogamy scale? Well, we do now thanks to Mark Dyble, a University of Cambridge evolutionary anthropologist and author of the new study. Over 30 different mammals were studied, and it was determined that Soay sheep, native to Scotland, are the least monogamous. On the other hand, the California Deermouse topped the list, proving you can’t spell manogomous without mouse. Humans did pretty well, ranking 7th. We would have ranked higher if not for Nick Cannon.
