Parker McCollum shared the story behind his song “Hell of a Year” during a recent concert, revealing that he wrote it while waiting at a drive-thru at an Austin Whataburger.
The Texas native joked that the long wait at the drive-thru gave him enough time to write a whole song. Despite having performed at Schroeder Hall multiple times, a 2020 show was canceled due to COVID, leaving fans eager for his return.
