Today, the AWESOME is in Oregon. On December 29th, 82-year-old Karen Joyce Davis had gone missing. What unfolded is another example of the love and loyalty of dogs. Karen, who reportedly suffered from dementia, became lost in rough terrain while walking her dog, Cami, and was soon disoriented in near-freezing temperatures. Cami stayed with Karen to keep her warm and safe, and the dog that typically never barked heard the rescuers and barked as loud as she could. Rescue officials said that if not for Cami barking, it could have been a terrible outcome. When a dog saves the life of its owner, THAT’S AWESOME.
