Pics and videos of his beat-up truck with rust and a truck bed that made people question if the truck was safe to drive were noticed by Colin Crowel, who owned a local detailing shop, and he started a GoFundMe. The goal was to get Mo a new and safer ride. In just one month, more than 500 people donated, raising over $22,000 — enough to cover the cost of Mo’s new truck. The big reveal took place last week, when Mo was presented with a 2019 Chevy Silverado. When he saw the truck, Mo simply said, “God blessed me.” When neighbors worry about the safety of their neighbors and do something about it, THAT’S AWESOME.
