Today, I salute Army Veteran Laurie Miorana. Laurie served 20 years in the U.S. Army, specifically in the medical field. She was in harm’s way a number of times during three deployments to Iraq – surviving, she says, thanks to God’s protection and the right training. Before finishing her military career and returning to civilian life, Laurie held various military leadership roles. Post-Army, she still works on Fort Benning in a civilian job, but has taken her experience as a leader to start something new: helping others with their goals, which could be losing weight or saving money. She is a life coach, and she enjoys helping people take on goals, big or small. She does it by showing them ways to break those goals down into smaller, achievable goals, which helps increase the chances of success. Thank you for helping other Veterans and active duty members, Laurie, and THANK YOU for your service.
