Marvin Gonzalez called the restaurant on Tuesday, January 6, to place an order for his two elderly dogs, Raven and Bruno, who were nearing the end of their lives due to old age and cancer. Wanting to honor them, Gonzalez ordered their final meal. What the family didn’t know at the time was that the meal had been paid for entirely by an employee. The worker used their daily complimentary meal and covered the remaining cost — $34.49 — using their own credit card, without informing the family.
