Today, the AWESOME is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Most kids set goals. Six-year-old Pim Neill set one that sounded almost impossible—and then kept going. In a single Girl Scout cookie season, the kindergartener has sold more than 100,000 boxes, something no Girl Scout her age had ever done before, and it all started with a simple idea. At first, her goal was 10,000 boxes. To help her get there, Pim and her dad got to work the old-fashioned way—knocking on doors in their Pittsburgh neighborhood, handing out flyers, making phone calls, and asking around at church and local businesses. A few weeks in, Pim had already sold 5,000 boxes. Her dad asked what her ultimate goal was. She said 10,000. He recorded a short video of Pim talking about her goal and posted it on TikTok, hoping social media might give her a little boost. Before long, she exceeded 100,000 boxes, a single-season record. Now she has a goal set even higher, the lifetime record of 180,000 boxes, and THAT’S AWESOME.
