The war with Iran is heading into the second week, and Israel has been relentlessly bombing sites in Lebanon and Iran. The United States plans to see a surge in military action against Iran heading into the weekend. Britain, Spain, France, and Italy have joined the fight, lending military aid to protect their interests, even though countries like Italy proclaim the war violates international law.

Ironically, during “Severe Weather Preparedness Week” and less than 2 days after the state-wide tornado drill, many in Sedgwick County were woken up by misfiring tornado sirens around midnight last night, when no tornado warning was in effect. There was a legitimate warning for Sumner County, but that one prompted officials to activate a siren zone in Sedgwick County to notify the Kansas Star Casino and the City of Mulvane, which straddles the county line. A separate siren zone has now been created for Mulvane and the Kansas Star Casino to prevent similar incidents in the future.

The ad goes on to say, “Basically, you’ll get paid to eat Wendy’s, be chill, maybe make some content, and maybe even star in ads.
