Today, I salute Air Force Veteran Jason Morgan. Former U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Jason Morgan survived a devastating 1999 ambush in Ecuador that left him paraplegic and nearly dead. After years of surgeries, chronic pain, depression, and reliance on heavy medication, traditional therapy offered little relief. Morgan struggled to raise three young sons alone while battling PTSD that went undiagnosed for decades. His life began to change through nontraditional healing, including service dogs and the comprehensive wellness program F1RST, which treats physical and mental trauma together. Inspired by his recovery, Morgan co-founded Veterans Outpost, a Texas ranch dedicated to helping fellow veterans heal through community, purpose, and alternative therapies. Thank you for helping other Veterans, Jason, and THANK YOU for your service.
