Today, I salute Air Force veteran Jasmine Paul. Jasmine knows what it’s like to struggle with money. During her senior year of college, she was couch surfing and even living out of her car while trying to stay in school. Everything changed after she commissioned into the U.S. Air Force, where she became determined to master personal finance so she’d never face that situation again. She began studying money management and helping fellow airmen get out of debt, eventually assisting more than 100 service members in paying off over $350,000. That experience inspired her to launch The Wealth Playground, a company that teaches kids financial literacy through books, lessons, and programs used by schools and nonprofits.
