What’s even crazier is that there were a lot of other winners, too. 89 people won the second prize of $1 million dollars. Why so many? It has everything to do with the layout of the playslips, which is designed in a way that inadvertently encourages players to pick numbers in a pattern.

Three days ago, I said it was not going to go well for the Cleveland Guardians baseball fan who was caught on camera stealing a home run ball from a little girl and was promptly called out by the announcers. The Knicks won, 140-89. At one point, the Hawks were down 60-19, which is around the same score the Monstars were leading the Tune Squad when the scoreboard read “Kinda One Sided Isn’t It?”
