Today, I salute Army Veteran Noelle Roe. After serving 26 years in the U.S. Army, Noelle Roe discovered a new purpose: nursing. A mother of three with multiple degrees, Roe enrolled at the University of Colorado Anschutz College of Nursing and is graduating with honors despite overcoming a traumatic brain injury suffered during deployment. She says nursing challenged her to think differently and pushed her to work harder than ever. Roe has accepted a position with UCHealth in behavioral health and hopes to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Inspired by personal experiences, she wants patients to feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. Thank you for inspiring others, Noelle, and THANK YOU for your service.
