It was a very Vegas ACM Awards show, and just like a trip to Vegas, there were a lot of surprises. Ella Langley dominated the show, winning Song, Single, Female Artist, Music Event, and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. She was nominated 7 times, won in every category, and that’s the most ACM awards won in a single night. The previous record was six, held by Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, and Chris Stapleton.

You knew it was going to be a special night when Blake Shelton came out and opened the show with Kenny Rogers, “The Gambler.” Cody Johnson stayed true to his word, and in his acceptance speech for his first ACM Entertainer of the Year award, he dedicated it to Luke Combs. Finally, don’t be surprised if Shania is the host again next year; instant reaction gave high marks as host of the show.
Finally, Morgan Wallen fans are hot mad that once again, the “I’m The Problem” singer didn’t win a single award. Morgan will be the first to tell you that he doesn’t care. Also, where was the most nominated artist of the night? Megan Moroney was not at the ACM Awards for a very good reason, she was the Maid of Honor at her best friends wedding.
