UPDATE: One lane of traffic was reopened Friday afternoon on westbound Interstate 70 in Kansas City, Kansas. The eastbound lanes have reopened to traffic. The interstate was closed after a crash involving a pickup and two semis. One semi driver was killed and the other was injured, along with the driver of the pickup.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said an eastbound pickup sideswiped a semi around 7:30 Friday near the interchange with Interstate 435. The semi hit a center barrier and was hit by a westbound semi.
