A Wichita man has been sentenced to more than 26 years in prison for the death of his infant son in 2020.
A judge held a sentencing hearing Thursday for 25-year-old Marlin Williams, and he sentenced Williams to 316 months in prison.
Williams was convicted of second degree murder in the January, 2020 death of two-month-old Marrell Williams. Marlin Williams admitted squeezing his son’s head when the boy started crying at a home in south Wichita. The boy died several days later at a hospital.
