The Star Spangled Salute is brought to you by

Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Air Force Veteran Chris Evans.  Chris Joined the Air Force in 1998, received his orders for Germany and his career as a Petroleums, Oils and Lubricants airman began.  His first 4 years of service he was fueling aircraft during the Kosovo war.  Chris would go on to fuel aircraft around the world and learn a lot, eventually becoming a flight chief as a Master Sergeant E-7, a rare feat at the time. Chris was deployed 3 times in his career, entrusted to keep flights fueled  in Turkey, Qatar and Iraq.  While at McConnell, Chris became a career assistance adviser which allowed him to use his experience to help hundreds of airmen and airwomen achieve their dreams too.  Congratulations on a long career and THANK YOU for your service.
