The Martha C. Buford Safari Express at Sedgwick County Zoo will open to the public following a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Friday, July 22.
The Safari Express is a C.P. Huntington Electric Train built locally by Chance Rides. The train will take patrons on a 1.3-mile tour through and around the Zoo, offering some views from behind the scenes.
Zoo guests can ride the Safari Express with an Attraction Ticket – $4 for Zoo Members, $5 for nonmembers.
