Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Veteran Nick Bare.  It was in college, while attending the Indiana University of Pennsylvania on an Army ROTC scholarship in 2012, Nick was already thinking ahead. The then future soldier and Veteran took out a $20,000 loan through USAA during his last few years of school to pursue his passion.  Bare Performance Nutrition started with performance supplements including pre-workout, creatine and whey protein, then moved on to health supplements such as superfoods, multivitamins and collagen in 2018. Building the his business during active duty, when he transitioned to civilian life in 2017 he went all in and now runs a $40M business.  As Nick puts it, he learned everything about business by building a business, including giving back. Bare Performance Nutrition is an official partner of Team Red, White and Blue, a nonprofit organization that guides veterans transitioning out of the military through social and physical activities.
