Police are pursuing a homicide investigation following Thursday’s large house fire in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma that left eight people dead.
Fire officials say crews were called to the four-hundred block of South Hickory Avenue around 4 p.m. Responding firefighters reportedly found all eight victims inside the burning home.
Broken Arrow Police Chief Brandon Berryhill said six children were found in a bedroom, and two adults were found at the front of the home. He said the case is being investigated as a murder-suicide. Broken Arrow Fire Chief Jeremy Moore said it’s not believed that any of the victims died from the fire, but an medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
