The Star Spangled Salute is brought to you by Ideal Feet

Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors WWII Veteran Frank McCrork Sr.  Those who know Frank, know him as a hard worker, a gentle soul and a guy who partially deadlifted 600 pounds at the age of 80.  During the war, Frank was an MP stationed in Germany and France.  At war’s end, when 6 million servicemembers were discharged and sent home, medal production hadn’t begun yet and Frank missed out on being awarded the medals and honors he earned. The other day, with color guard, a state representative and friends and family on hand, Frank received his medals along with a quilt gifted to him by the organization Quilts of Valor.  Congratulations Frank on your long, overdue medals and THANK YOU for your service.
