A man died over the weekend following an accident at Holly Frontier in El Dorado.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened Saturday morning. A contractor was reportedly working in a confined space when other crew members lost contact with him.
Rescue crews at the facility were able to retrieve the worker who was then taken to a hospital where he pronounced dead.
It is not yet known what exactly happened or how the man died. The worker has only been identified as a 31-year-old man from Alvin, Oklahoma.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Holly Frontier and OSHA are investigating incident.
