Botanica announced its newest traveling exhibit, “Dinosaurs Around the World: The Great Outdoors,”
The exhibit will be from May 20th – September 17th, 2023. It will feature 10 animatronic dinosaurs throughout the gardens, several over 27 feet long.
The cost of viewing this exhibit is included with general admission.
Visitors will go on a global journey to discover which dinosaurs lived on the original continent configuration of Pangea, and learn how plate tectonics, land bridges and volcanic activity allowed dinosaurs to travel to all corners of the world.
The exhibit will be accompanied by daily activities, art projects, dino tours, giant puzzles to build dinosaurs and special events. One such event is National Dinosaur Day on Thursday, June 1st, which features a presentation by a Kansas paleontologist and ends with the Dinos at Dusk Party, a double feature movie night screening of the Land Before Time and Jurassic World and includes games, activities, and prizes.
