Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Kansas Navy Veteran Michael Bryant. Michael always wanted to work on subs, so in 1991 he joined the Navy. It took 2 years of intense training but it was worth it because his dream became reality and he received orders to serve in a machinery division aboard a nuclear submarine. “I wanted to see how a naval nuclear power plant operated.” Michael went on to say, “I wanted to actually operate one. I just wanted that experience. And then, thought about submarines, so it was kind of a, a perfect match, and basically, I lived out a dream in the Navy.” Congrats on following your dream Michael and THANK YOU for your service.
