Messages from the Clearwater Fire Department and the City of Clearwater have identified the victim of a fatal crash as Clearwater City Council member William “Tex” Titterington.   The messages were posted on social media late Monday, offering condolences to Titterington’s family.

Titterington was in a car that collided with a pickup Sunday evening near 120th Street South and K-49, north of Caldwell.   Titterington was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the pickup was taken to a Wichita hospital with critical injuries.   That driver died later and he was identified as Robert Davis of Enid, Oklahoma.

The crash is still being investigated and no further details have been released.
