Original Story:

Police are investigating an early morning shooting at an east Wichita apartment complex.   A 20-year-old man was killed and three other people were injured, and McConnell Air Force Base reports the victims are all Airmen stationed at the base.

Officers were called to the apartment complex at Central and Rock Road around 2 a.m. Saturday. They found a man dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.    A 19-year-old woman was in serious condition after going to a hospital. Two men, ages 21 and 22, were treated and released for minor injuries.

Police said there was a party going on at one of the apartments when a disturbance broke out in the parking lot, then someone got out of a vehicle and fired shots into a group of people.   No arrests have been made and police are still talking to witnesses.   Anyone with information is urged to call the police homicide section at 316-268-4407 or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
