An arrest has been made in the 2017 death of a 13-month-old Ulysses boy.
Jaxon Silva died on October 6, 2017 at a Wichita hospital from brain injuries. He had been airlifted from Ulysses to Wichita after he had been brought to a local hospital unresponsive.
The KBI says agents have arrested 18-year-old Jayden Silva, the boy’s father, in connection to his death. Jayden Silva was a juvenile at the time of his son’s death.
He is being held in the Grant County Jail on juvenile charges of first-degree felony murder, and abuse of a child.
