1. Good news for the economy – It grew 2.4% in the second quarter of the year. That number exceeded both analysts’ estimates of 1.7% and first-quarter growth, which came in at 2%. 

2. The ocean water off the coast of South Florida just hit a new world record with a temperature recorded of 101.1 degrees. Just FYI, the average temperature considered safe for a hot tub is between 100 and 102.

3. Lebron James’ son Bronny is out of the hospital, 3 days after suffering cardiac arrest on the court during practice

4. More charges have been brought against Donald Trump and 2 of his former employees in the classified documents case, including a charge of attempting to delete security camera footage.

5. Just days after vandals destroyed over half of Splash Aqua Park here in Wichita, causing over $100k worth of damage, they have decided to stay hope for the rest of the season  and offer 1/2 price admission thanks to support and encouragement from the community.
