Firefighters from Sedgwick County, Wichita and 30 other departments across Kansas took part in an annual event to remember the firefighters who lost their lives in the 9-11 terror attacks in New York City.
The Wichita 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb was held Saturday morning at the Epic Center in Wichita.
Firefighters wearing rescue gear climbed 110 flights of stairs in the building, to honor the 343 firefighters who were lost in the attack on the World Trade Center.
