This is a big week, the LAST WEEK of Summer as Fall starts at 1:50am on Saturday morning.  That’s not the only thing trending. Here are 5 things you need to know, to take with you today because they will definitely be conversation starters.

1. Jalen Hurts, Justin Herbert, Joe Burrow all became the highest paid players in NFL history this year – but only taking the crown away temporarily from Patrick Mahomes.  The Chiefs just restructured his deal again, giving him a guaranteed $210.6M between now and 2026 and once again bring his title of highest paid player back to Arrowhead.

2. Taco Tuesday could also be Tattoo Tuesday here in Wichita as the city could lift regulations expanding the city footprint where tattoo services can be offered. As of now the Old Town, Century II area doesn’t allow it, but that could change today

3. Hunter Biden is suing the IRS for privacy violations after they allegedly released, without his permission, his confidential tax information.

4. Less hours and more money is one of the issues being talked about as the United Auto Workers strike is in it’s 4th day.  Up for discussion is the demand for a 32 hour, 4 day work week.

5. and in a futuristic move that seems very reminscent of a Star Trek food replicator, there is something fishy in Austria.  You can now get 3D printed Vegan Salmon on supermarket shelves.  Believe to be a first in the food industry anywhere.  The salmon alternative is made from mycoprotein, which comes from filamentous fungi. Well, that sounds AWFUL!!
